Edward Jaffee Abes and Thomas C. Baumann, partners of Abes Baumann, P.C. have been named Pennsylvania Super Lawyers again for 2008, representing the top 5% of all lawyers in the Commonwealth specializing in the field of Workers' Compensation.
Attorney Baumann was also named one of the top 50 lawyers in Pittsburgh in 2008, out of a total of more than 7,000 attorneys practicing in the region.
Abes and Baumann were selected for these distinctions in a statewide survey, conducted annually by Law & Politics, of more than 38,000 Pennsylvania attorneys who have been licensed for five years or more who were asked to name the best lawyers they had personally observed in action.
The Abes Baumann partners have also received the highest rating for skill and integrity by Martindale Hubbell, the pre-eminent publication which ranks lawyers nationally, and they appear in the 2008 edition of "Best Lawyers in America."
